Tips from A Credit Assessor: How to get approved for a CarCoop car
Make sure you have a surplus income
A surplus income describes the amount of an asset or resource that exceeds the portion that’s actively utilised. Maintaining a good surplus income is another important factor in having your application approved. It helps boost your chances because it shows you can handle your weekly payments.
Finish other loan obligations
Don’t take on new financial obligations if you still have an active loan like a payday or a personal loan. Try to finalise as many obligations as possible first. Or make sure they’re almost paid off before lodging a new loan application, to increase your financial capacity.
Don’t withhold or misrepresent important financial information
Since we don’t require credit checks, the credit assessor will look at your current bank statements and pay slips to determine your financial capability. If they request these information, you must provide authentic documents and be ready to answer truthfully any additional questions they may have. This will ensure speedy processing and approval. Our credit assessors are trained to identify falsified documents.
Always keep your lines open
Once our team receive your application, you can expect a call back from one of our application specialists within 24-48 business hours. And if you miss a call, make sure to call back at 1300 614 299 as soon as you can within our operating hours (8 am to 6 pm). This will again ensure speedy processing and approval.
